About Hillary

People ask me why, after so many years of “serious” careers I am choosing to start a company that cares for pets, walks dogs, and watches over people’s homes.  I answer that I cannot think of a nicer thing to do with my days, then spend them with animals.  Most days you’ll find me at the barn (riding a very large but sweet Friesian horse named Tjeerd, nicknamed “Mr. Right” on good days and “Moose” on others), then walking my clients’ dogs, tending to homes filled with cats, lizards, parrots, guinea pigs and hamsters, and later, studying for school.  I’m getting my PhD in psychology, for when I’m really old and can’t walk anymore.   All in all, it’s turning out to be a wonderful life.
